Peninsula

Painted partly in New Zealand and finished in Australia, Peninsula captures the raw energy of a wild ocean meeting the coastline near Dunedin. Begun in the Bay of Pently over winter 2023 and recently completed in them Magnetic Island studio, this work layers luminescent tones across the canvas, casting a glowing promise across the body of land. Abstract forms in the ocean depths suggest the mysteries beneath the surface, inviting contemplation of what lies unseen. Oil on Canvas, 70x55cm. Framed in a beautiful dark stained oak and ready to hang.
